A poem I wrote to highlight the difference between Jesus and false religion. This is not an attack upon Christians, so please don’t take this as offensive, it’s just a means of education and let people know what Jesus was truly sent with. Jesus is a Prophet of Islam, yet a God of Christianity. In Islam God is all Powerful, But in Christianity God was overpowered and crucified on the cross, how can the Almighty God be overpowered, these are just examples for people to think about, we are not forcing you to believe, just ponder and question. The Quran is the final testament, Muhammad is the final Messenger. Islam is the final religion, so no I dont Hate Islam. One God, One God only, He does not beget nor was he begotten, He is the GREATEST. And has no partners. (Holy Quran Ch 112) Facebook: www.facebook.com Twitter: #spokenwordmuslim The following is a video response to bball1989′s video “Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus || Spoken Word”. “And they say: the Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a Son. Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing, whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall to ruins, that ye ascribe to the Beneficent a son, when it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should chose a son. There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave.” (Qur’an 19:88-93). @vijaygodson meaning no real religion until u adhere 2 and implement the Tawrah & the Injil. That is, until u believe in all the Books that u have that Allah revealed 2 the Prophets. These Books command following Muhammad (peace be upon him) & believing in his prophecy, all the while adhering 2 his Law.

so you mean that we dont have to ACT ACCORDING TO TAWRAT AND INJIL.. Just believe that these books are from allah.. but I read something different from the verse you given “YOU HAVE NOTHING TILL YOU ACT ACCORDING”..

I truly believe that Jesus was sent as a parable for the perfect way of life and to guide humankind, but I cannot accept that he is God or the son of God. Why would God himself enter the world as a human, defying all the knowledge He has given us about His attributes (i.e He is independent of all things and needs neither sleep nor food, He is All-Powerful, Self-Sufficient,etc) rather than send an eg. for us through His creation, i.e. a Prophet, which would also be more relatable to us as humans?

But the problem here is that in saying that God has paid that price for you, you are effectively saying that God has removed the consequences of sinning. So what, then, is the difference between an unrepentant sinner and someone who strives in the way of God but still falls into sin? At the end of the day, according to this concept of salvation, are they are both treated the same by God (in terms of Judgment) regardless of their efforts or lack thereof?

God does not expect us to be perfect, but He expects us to try nonetheless. Yes we will sin, and yes our level of faith may take a dip at certain points in our lifetime, but as long as we acknowledge our sins and turn to God in sincere repentance, then I believe that, being the Most Merciful, God will forgive our shortcomings.

‘If God were to judge us each by our own actions and deeds, we all would stand condemned’ -I absolutely agree with you here. But I believe God only wants to see that we are striving towards goodness and striving to follow the examples He has set forth for us through His Prophets.

So God, despite his incomprehensible and unlimited love for His son, sacrifices him for the sins that humankind commit? Even though this son is perfect and sinless and completely innocent of the wrongdoings of humanity?

It’s when humans stray from the path of God that they commit such atrocities as what we are seeing today. When we all stand before the One God on the Day of Judgment, God will ensure that justice ultimately prevails by rewarding those who did good and punishing those who transgressed and that is the ultimate justice.

Personally, I don’t think its ok for us to simply live this one short life we have been given without concerning ourselves as to the purpose of it. A life without purpose is meaningless and usually not very fulfilling. You cannot measure the Justness of God based on the horrible things human beings do to each other. God has given each of us the free will to choose our own actions, but He has sent us a guideline with which we should live our lives by-The Quran.

Cont: Amazingly with the exception of the smallest fragments, no 2 of these copies are exactly alike in their particulars. No one knows how many differences, or variant readings, occur among the surviving witnesses, but they must number in the hundreds of thousands.”

Cont: “In any event, none of [the original manuscripts of the books of the Bible] now survive. What do survive are copies made over the course of centuries, or more accurately, copies of the copies of the copies, some 5,366 of them in the Greek language alone, that date from the second century down to the sixteenth.

In other words, they have with them gospels and epistles which date back to the century when the Trinitarians took over the Christian Church. All manuscripts from before this period have strangely perished. All Bibles in existence today are compiled from these “ancient manuscripts.” However, any reputable scholar of the Bible will tell us that no two ancient manuscripts are exactly identical.

Well, where do all of these Bibles come from and why the difficulty in defining what is a truly “inspired” word of God? Yes they come from the “ancient manuscripts” The Christian world today is claimed 2 possess anywhere up to 24,000 “ancient manuscripts” of the Bible with a very few of them dating all the way back the 4th century after Christ (but not back to Christ or the apostles themselves).

I am about to be a father, and to think that I could have been born an Iraqi and my son or daughter could have been bombed or shot, there is no way I could believe in a just god. I think its ok for us humans to believe that we dont know all the answers to the purpose of this life and reality.

then those who followed Him had a reason to proclaim the Gospel, because of its truth. They had walked with Christ, and known Him personally and they knew He was the Messiah whom God had promised. Knowing this, they would not deny Him and faced persecution and martyrdom utterly convinced of the truth of the Gospel.

blasphemous and began to kill Christians for believing this. The Romans too would not accept this and also persecuted Christians. Why then, if Jesus were only a prophet, would the followers of Christ make Him to out to be more than that at the risk of their lives? They would not gain salvation by spreading lies about a prophet. They would not receive any sort of wealth for this belief. All that they were sure to receive was persecution and death. However, if Jesus was who He said He was

Also, if we look historically at the fathers of the early Church, we should think about something. Why, if they were intending on changing the Gospels, would they change them to make Jesus into God? If He were just a prophet, and they had left Him that way, that would have been fine. Neither the Romans nor the Jews would have a problem with a moral teacher. What they couldn’t take though, was Christ’s claim to deity. The Jews, not recognizing that He was the Messiah, considered this

has changed. If Mohammed said this during his ministry (in the 600′s AD) he would be saying that as early as 550-500 years after the New Testament was written it had been changed radically. However, today we can look at original manuscripts of the books of the New Testament and see two things: 1) that they are written as early as 60-70AD and 2) that they are entirely unchanged. Translation has not taken anything away or added anything to the New Testament in 2000 years.

If you’d bothered to actually find out what Islam really does preach, rather than just lap up everything the media spews out about Islam these days, you would know that Islam DOES NOT preach hatred of other religions at all. There are actually many instances/events in history that show Islam does not propogate hatred of other religions. E.g Spain in the 1920′s -when the Jews were being persecuted and the Muslims helped them re-build their synagogues that had been destroyed.

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”" -Matthew 28:18-20
Here we see that Jesus refers explicitly to the three members of the Trinity. Also I do not understand the belief that Christian scripture

I’m sorry to say that you have absolutely no knowledge of the true teachings of Islam if that it what you truly believe. Under Islamic Law, the right of each individual to practise their religion, whether or not that be Islam, is safeguarded. Christians living under shariah law are absolutely allowed to keep their faith and even keep their churches.

It is not that part of God is human. It’s that God took on flesh. That is, He entered the world as a human. You are exactly right to say that we are weak and corrupt beings. But thats precisely why Christ had to live life as a man, so that He could face the struggles and temptations that we face as humans, yet succeed where we failed. He lived the life that we are called to live for us, not breaking a single of God’s laws so that he could be the perfect sacrifice.

Can I work my way to salvation? If He is truly just, there must be a consequence for my sin. However, God Himself paid that price for us, giving us the opportunity to claim salvation on account of that love He has shown us.
