The cure for being single when nothing else has worked
After finding nothing but bad translations of this song, I tried my hand at translating the lyrics. Yes, I know this is not an exact translation, but more of an interpretation of what the song is trying to say. I hope you enjoy it! (Please let me know if there are any terribly bad translation errors!)

@YesIm10: You could translate it to “so I can say goodbye to you”… except she doesn’t say anything. She wants to make an impression on her ex so he will see the big mistake he made by leaving her. I had difficulty coming up with a meaningful phrase there.

Can somebody please tell me what exactly she means when she’s saying in the second chorus how she’s dressed up and put on makeup and everything, THEN she says “For you to never see me again”?
If this is just a bad translation, please tell me, if not, please explain what she means.
I hope its not a bad translation and what she means is she’s going to try to impress him one last time and after that she’s going to be over him.

Money means little to Risako, she just wants a man but is afraid of people hating on her and abusing her for leaving, either that or she’s the best singer/actor I’ve ever heard.
Currently she’s protected by Tsunku, I hope that one day she’ll be safe and not have to worry about money or people as much as she is doing here.

@wesleywes3: Don’t feel too bad for them. It was leaked that the Morning Musume girls get salaries around $360,000 per year. I’m sure the Berryz Koubou girls get around the same amount, if not a bit less.
Think about it this way: Would you rather be a fan of a girl who you know has a boyfriend, or a girl who doesn’t?
This is an even bigger deal in Japan. When a character from the anime K-On was revealed to have a boyfriend in the manga version, fans were horrified and even burned the manga!

This song always gets to me, it’s sooo epic and it makes my think of an abusive boyfriend, Just going on and on then OVER! This song is a dedication to us girls.
