Old dudes who date young girls are irresponsible. Guys die 8 years typically before women, so they are almost guaranteed to leave an old widow who will likely be alone for 30 years or more! @srthixton Is it because of the age different they don’t like the idea of you two dating or cold ther be other reasons? It would suck that you’d miss out on a great guy just because he’s older than they’d prefer. I’m in a very similar situation. I’m 19 and he’s 31. I told my parents I could never be at peace with myself if I didn’t take a chance with him.

I’m 19 and I’ve been with my boyfriend for 9 months now. He 41 and I’ve never felt like this for a guy before.
