How Do I Find Happiness – Thoughts On Life

If you are one of the many wondering “how do I find happiness”, then you are not alone. In fact most people are contemplating the same thoughts on life.

It seems like we spend a lot of time doing what we are supposed to do in life. We wake up, we get our body ready to go outside, we go to work, we pick up the kids, we talk to grandma, and so on. Life is so filled will all of these daily task that it gets overwhelming.

When you get overwhelmed in your life just doing one thing after another, then it gets hard to focus on what really matters to you in life. A life that is lived putting out one fire after another while on autopilot is a life of powerlessness. When you feel powerless then you feel like you have no choice in life. Life just happens to you and then its over before you know it.

If you allow yourself to remain in this powerless state, then you will never be able to choose happiness. You will always be wanting to know “how do I find happiness”, “where did it go”, and “how do I get it?” You will always be waiting for something to happen in life to bring you happiness.

Stop wondering “how do i find happiness” and re-claim your power to be happy within yourself.

Happiness is not something that is given to you through external things in life. It is something that you give to yourself. It is something that you are and choose to be. If you are in a powerless state, then you aren’t being you and essentially you are allowing life to push you around.

So here are some thoughts on life which you can use to re-claim your power so that you can find the happiness you are looking for:

• Take a look at how you are just re-acting in life. What ways are you just doing things that you feel have to be done? Do you really need to do those things? Can you re-arrange your life to include things that make you feel strong and empowered?

• Learn to love yourself. This is a big one. Learning to love yourself unconditionally makes you positive and makes you happy regardless of what’s going on in your life.

• Seek guidance from a higher source. When you need answers to questions, don’t take answers from people who don’t already have what you want. Discover things for yourself and prove it to yourself. Seeking answer from within you through meditation is a great start.

Start doing what you feel you need to do to get your power of choice back. Life can be a beautiful place to live when you get to be you. When you get to be ALL of you no matter what that looks like with absolute freedom, then you will naturally be happy all the time. But you can only learn to be you in totality if you stop letting life push you around with its crisis’s.

There may always be a crisis around the corner, you don’ have to react in ways that create a dis-service for you. Learn to do what empowers you and make time for that in your life today.
