Scientists speculate: looks, pheromones, hormones, money, personality etc. All valid hypothesis, but they fail to answer the key question: What is the relevance of each factor? Or are they all equal, so the woman just assigns points to each category in her subconscious, and than makes up her mind: „Mr. Smith got 8 points in the wealth category, but only 1 point in physical attractiveness, so his total is 9 points on 20 point scale” ?
